Job Description

Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities

• •Lead and manage Security Operations Centre Efficency
• •Ensure effective incident identification, assessment, mitigation, communication and reporting of the incidents
• •Responsible for the technical delivery and execution of the tasks as per the SLAs/within the deadlines
• •Provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities
• •Generation of status reports, dash boards and metrics for senior management and client teams
• •Constantly analyzing the current incident handling/ managing processes, tools and techniques and identifying areas of improvement
• •Identifying the training requirements of the teams and work closely with the team to help improve their skills
• •Share the knowledge, train the junior resources and provide subject matter expertise
• •Interfacing/working with customer security teams/ Infrastructure teams / Server managers/ Senior management, vendors
• •Staying current with the latest trends, tools, technologies and processes in the security environment
• •Manage staffing, recruiting, training and involve in the staff goalsetting and appraisal process

Education + Experience

• •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or equivalent discipline
• •Good Understanding of Security Risks and Vulnerability
• •Experience in SIEM technologies
• •Good knowledge of various security devices such as Firewall, IPS, WAF etc
• •Good knowledge of OS, Databases and Webservers
• •Good knowledge of security concepts such as cyber attacks, techniques, threat vectors, risk management etc
• •Proficiency in Incident Management and response
• •Very strong analytical skills
• •Very strong in developing metrics for security operations
• •Proficient in preparation of MIS reports
• •Very strong people management skills capable of motivating team for high performance
• •Experience in managing 24/7 operations
• •Experience in dealing with external customers
• •Experience in project management
• •Experience in running training and mentoring programs for team
